Design of a Transceiver System at C-Band based on Multi- Technology
نویسنده
چکیده
This paper presents design and simulation of a transceiver system for active phased array at C-Band using multi-technology based chips. Multi-technology feature is new emerging technique for complex RF and microwave systems designs where transceiver chips based on different fabrication technologies like MMIC, LTCC and microstrip are integrated on same RF board. Design and simulation of full transceiver system is very challenging because of the presence of multiple technologies in one single design. Finite Element Method (FEM) based electromagnetic solver has been used to simulate complete module. A peak module output gain 18.2 dB has been achieved at an overall module efficiency of 21%. متن کاملDesign of Gate-Driven Quasi Floating Bulk OTA-Based Gm–C Filter for PLL Applications
The advancement in the integrated circuit design has developed the demand for low voltage portable analog devices in the market. This demand has increased the requirement of the low-power RF transceiver. A low-power phase lock loop (PLL) is always desirable to fulfill the need for a low power RF transceiver. This paper deals with the designing of the low power transconductance- capacitance (Gm-...

The Serial Streaming Telemetry infrastructure is being augmented with the Telemetry Network System, which is a net-centric infrastructure requiring bi-directional communications between the test article segment and the ground station segment. As a result, future radio segments must implement transceiver architecture to support bi-directional communications. This paper presents a design methodol...
متن کاملVibrating RF MEMS Overview: Applications to Wireless Communications
Micromechanical RF filters and reference oscillators based on recently demonstrated vibrating on-chip micromechanical resonators with Q’s >10,000 at 1.5 GHz, are described as an attractive solution to the increasing count of RF components (e.g., filters) expected to be needed by future multi-band wireless devices. With Q’s this high in on-chip abundance, such devices might also enable a paradig...
